I dont know how many of yas know about IHA (impoverished homebuilders association)-- its an internet-based homebuilders club with the goal of homebuilt airplanes for $5,000 or thereabouts. Nobody really expects to hit that number, but we are having fun trying.

What started as a tounge-in-cheek satire has grown to over 300 members worldwide. (I am member 110, and curator of our soon-to-active technical library)

Our homepage is at http://public.surfree.com/arkiesair/index.htm and you can join IHA-FREE- or subscribe to our mailing lists from there.

Cheapex is a slow list mainly to substitute for a classified section, there are engine and airframe lists (i am not on either so couldnt tell ya the activity) and 5K is our general "cheap airplane--chat list" . we even manage to stay on topic about 1/2 the time. Volume on 5k is usually about 15-20 messages a day, and its a great bunch of guys.

Come on over and join us- its free, (about as cheap as ya can get <grin>)

Mike

Airplanes dont fly on gas, they fly on money.
The more money you throw at them,
the faster they fly.
