No Joy on the manuals. The insurance co. took all the books with the wreckage (student stalled it on takeoff) so they could get max $ for the components.

Nice to think about that old bird again (its been beer cans for 2 years)--it was the first C-172 I ever flew.

Hey thanks Mike sure hope you do.  Bad having something and don't know which buttons to push to make it work right.  Guess I'm kinda a dummy.

Hey John

C-FOZW had one before it got wrecked. I will be at the field tommorow and see if the manuals are still around or if the insurance co. got them.

Help,,  does anyone have a manual or information on a King 8001 loran?

I have one installed in my plane that looks like it would work OK but I don't have a operators manual and I just got off the phone with Allied-Signal/King people and they say they don't have any.  They sold the loran, and rights to someone else that has gone out of business.
