Do you know if Dremel still makes this saw? It is not in the current catalog. I
have one, and love it, but, the blade is worn out . I need a replacement, but
cannot find one. With this saw, a good drill, (Milwaukee) and a Delta disc/ belt
sander,you're in business.

Also, while we are on the subject, N numbers are assigned by the FAA. You can
request specialty numbers for homebuilts. Pete Bowers suggests using your plans
number for your serial no. The FAA only requests that it is "unique"to the type
of aircraft. I also see too many
questions being asked that are answered in AC43.13. If you are
building/rebuilding/restoring an aircraft, this is the one book you should have

I'm betting 1/16" ribs will be a pain in the aileron cutout sheeting area.
Also, I added quite a bit of wood in the sheeted root area for access panels to
the aileron.swing link. There will be a fair amount of fabric pull in these
areas. I know how hard it is to put down a
"good idea", but it seems there are few arguments in favor, and many against.

I have rebuilt a Stinson 108-2 under the tutelage of an old school A/P, I/A. I
have learned that there are good reasons why things are done the way they are
done on an airplane. The FB plans do not contain all the information you need
to build one!
