Gentlemen: Since it seems uncertain, as to the next Fly-In for Fly babies, I
might suggest the following. Here in the Annapolis MD. area, one of our EAA
Chapter 512 members has a rather large private field, just across the
Chesapeake Bay Bridge, just south of Kent Island, called "Talisman Farms". This
strip is comprised of three grass runways, the longest, approx. 3,000 ft. and
is situated on nearly 1,500 acres of private land, including a
hanger and picnic facilities. We have already hosted several EAA fly-ins, of
various groups, and I can certainly arrange something if this sounds
attractive. Naturally, it is quite easy to locate, and is perfect for this type
of function. We always have our local CAP cadets available to help with
tiedown, security, transportation etc. If interested, let me know. Sincerely,
Irv Furman
