So far its been a short life, but I've already packed in a few adventures.

first hiking trip This was my first hiking trip. Me and the folks went up towards Lost Lake (near Hood River Oregon) and did a trudge in the snow. I can't say that I got to see that much as I was bundled and swaddled and wrapped within an inch of my life. It was a good trip, so I'm told. Please note how happy Cirrus the Adventure Dog is to be out in the snow.

Hike along the Columbia River I guess the folks got tired of the snow. The next trip was on the Wygant and Chetwoot trails. These trails roughly parallel highway 84 about 5 miles west of Hood River. There are some great views of of the Columbia River. The spring flowers were just starting to show up and the weather was great for early March. A great trip even though we did walk about 5 miles.

Trip to the Beach The next trip wasn't so much of an adventure as it was an offsite meeting. Every spring the Stutzman family goes to the Oregon coast (this year we went to the Lincoln City area) and takes stock of things while walking down the beach. Once again, Mom wadded me up in 13 layers of clothes. It was a bit chilly, but she did it mostly to keep the blowing sand out of delicate places.
